Queen Margaret University is proud to partner with the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, offering affordable, quality accommodation to artists throughout the Festival period.
With a wide range of room options, dedicated rehearsal spaces, fully equipped gym facilities, on-campus catering, and beautiful green surroundings, QMU provides everything you need for an ideal Festival base.
Beyond accommodation, we’re also collaborating with the Fringe Society to host a vibrant programme of social and networking events on campus, helping you connect, create, and make the most of your Fringe experience.
Summer Accommodation 2026 Options - as of July 2026
Option 1: Single Ensuite Rooms in Shared Self-Catering Apartments (limited availability)
We have a limited amount of individual rooms within shared flats still available. Each has a comfortable single bed, ensuite shower pod and access to a shared kitchen and living area. Options as below:
- Option 1 2 Aug – 16 Aug (Weeks 1 & 2)
- Option 2 9 Aug – 23 Aug (Weeks 2 & 3)
- Option 3 16 Aug – 30 Aug (Weeks 3 & 4)
- Option 4 2 Aug – 23 Aug (Weeks 1, 2 & 3)
- Option 5 2 Aug – 30 Aug (Weeks 1–4)

Option 2: Group Bookings – Premium 5 & 6 Bedroom Apartments (limited availability)
Our apartments are available for group bookings, with a minimum stay of one week, available from 2/8/26 to 30/8/26 and each equipped with a bed and a private ensuite shower pod. Guests will have access to a kitchen/diner with all essential appliances. Our 6 bed standard apartments have single beds, our 4 and 5 bed premium apartments have double beds.
Weekly Prices
- 5-Bedroom Apartment: £1750
- 6-Bedroom Apartment: £1890
